Sahara Heatmats

A Heatmat is similar to an electric blanket in concept. You lay the Heatmat on top of polystyrene (Aeroboard) and sit some aluminium cooking foil on top of the Heatmat to distribute the heat evenly. Heatmats come with a good quality themostat and full instructions. They will get your seeds and seedlings off to a good start which generally helps them to continue that way. Heatmats are more convenient to set up and use than soil warming cables and when you are finished with them at the end of the season you can roll them up and put them away.
